Michelle L. Karczeski is a Republican candidate for the Clerk of Harford County Circuit Court in 2022. She will bring with her over 14 years of experience with the Maryland Judiciary.
Michelle is the Owner and President of SETA Consulting, LLC which she founded over 15 years ago in Bel Air. The business is a small woman-owned Maryland-based business providing Project Management, Help Desk and IT Consulting Support Services to the Maryland Judiciary.
As a contractor, Michelle provided project management and financial systems support to the IT and Office of Support Systems Unit of the Administrative Office of the Courts – Department of Judicial Information Systems. Michelle has been engaged in numerous projects statewide to benefit the Maryland Court system and Harford County residents. She has been involved with the Judiciary – Department of Budget and Finance financial system and implemented the revenue collection system in all Maryland District and Circuit Court locations, MDEC financials and the Attorney Information System, piloted the Jury Management System in the Cecil County Circuit Court and has worked on many other major IT projects.
Michelle is a mission-oriented individual providing service for the Department of Defense at the National level and the Maryland Judiciary at the State level. Now it is time to bring that experience home to Harford County and work to improve the local level.
Her commitment of service to the Judiciary as a whole has earned her the respect of colleagues and other leaders in the Maryland Courts.

Michelle believes in promoting positivity and giving back to the community. She has served as a volunteer supporting many local events and has had a life of active community involvement and fundraising.
More About Michelle
Michelle is a graduate of Fallston High School, where she was a member of the Women’s State Championship Lacrosse Team. Michelle also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Geography (Cartography and Urban Planning) from Frostburg State University graduating in 1992. She then proceeded to obtain her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2007.
Michelle is a lifelong resident of Harford County. She has two sons (Matt and Ryan) and resides in Bel Air with her husband Dave of 15 years.
